A consortium led by Brian Dillon, Managing Director of Dillon Waste and Recycling, has bought Mr Binman.
Mr Binman is a Munster-based household and commercial waste collection and recycling company.
Kieran Wallace and Padraic Monaghan of KPMG had been appointed as joint receivers to the company last October.
The value of the deal was not disclosed and it relates only to Mr Binman which has customers in Limerick, Kerry, Clare, Cork and Galway.
It does not relate to the Clearpoint and O'Mearas (Mr Binman Clonmel) businesses, which continue to trade as normal in receivership.
Dillon Waste is based in Tralee, Co Kerry, and services both household and commercial sectors.
