Three firms are to create 145 jobs

Over 100 new jobs have been announced by two separate technology companies.

80 new high-tech positions have been announced for Galway by the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise & Innovation, Richard Bruton.

The posts are being created by cloud computing company Sourcedogg.com.

In Dublin, data collection company, Datalogic, is establishing a shared services and customer management centre, creating around 30 jobs.

Meanwhile, the Western Union money transfer company has announced 35 jobs at the multi-national's European headquarters in Dublin, bringing the total workforce to 95.
