The Department of Finance has issued a notice on its website seeking expressions of interest from people interested in joining the board of the National Asset Management Agency.
The department says that to qualify for appointment, a person must have "expertise and experience at a senior level" in one or more of 14 areas - including fields such as law, economics, property management and construction and land development.
The notice also says that a person must not have any conflicts of interest which would be likely to interfere with his or her ability to play a full part on the board.
The closing date for expressions of interest is March 6.
