Dutch firm to add jobs after Irish move

A Dutch-based company is planning to create more than 20 jobs over the next three years following its entry into the Irish market.

ATS International, which provides technology for manufacturing companies, has acquired Cork company OceanModus. The new Cork-based Irish business, to be known as ATS Ireland, plans to add the jobs to service its Irish and international customers.

OceanModus has customers in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries. The co-founders of OceanModus, Desmond Savage and Thomas Wyczawski, will become directors of the new Irish business.

The company is mainly looking to hire manufacturing engineers with experience of software implementation. The project has been supported by the Cork City Enterprise Board.
