Ryanair has reported a 8% drop in passenger numbers for the month of November. The airline said it carried a total of 4.68 million passengers last month, down from the 5.06 million it carried the same time last year.
Ryanair had expected its passenger numbers to fall as it has grounded up to 80 aircraft due to higher oil prices. The airline pointed out that the passenger numbers had originally been predicted to fall by 10% for November.
Its load factor for November was unchanged at 80%.
