The Director of Corporate Enforcement says it has submitted a third file related to its investigation into Anglo Irish Bank to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Paul Appleby told the Irish Company Secretaries Group the file was linked to the suspected failure of Anglo to maintain a register of loan and related transactions which the bank had with its directors and with persons connected with its directors.
Mr Appleby said "good progress" was being made with its Anglo investigations, and further papers would be sent to the DPP in the coming months.
