Exploration company Ormonde Mining says a feasibility study on its tungsten project in Barruecopardo in Spain is on track for completion by the end of the year.

The company says the market price for tungsten has risen sharply, and demand is expected to remain strong.

The company this morning issued first-half results showing a loss of €437,000,

Chairman Michael Donoghue also said the company was making good progress on its La Zarza copper project, also in Spain.

It is also awaiting results from an initial gold drilling programme carried out with joint venture partner Aurum Mining.
