Independent postal services company CityPost has bought direct mail distribution company Publicity Mailing for an undisclosed sum.
Publicity Mailing is one of the country's largest mail distribution companies and employs 165 workers and contractors. It is also the only provider in the market to use personnel GPS tracking on all its delivery operations, which it says provides a unique level of transparency.
The deal will see CityPost enhance its network and delivery capability, including increased van and personnel capacity.
CityPost currently employs 188 staff in Ireland and last week announced the creation of another 180 new positions over the next few months.
