A receiver has been appointed to the Cavan Crystal Hotel based on the outskirts of Cavan town.
In a statement, Cavan Hotel & Leisure Company confirmed that Kieran Wallace of KPMG had been appointed as receiver to the hotel.
The hotel will continue to trade as normal, under the Cavan Crystal Hotel name, throughout the process of receivership.
All of the hotel's 120 full and part-time staff will continue to be employed.
There will be no interruption in trade and all customer bookings, deposits and vouchers will be honoured.
The receiver pointed out that today's development had no bearing on the Cavan Crystal Design operation.
