Kenmare Resources says production at its Moma mine in Mozambique has resumed after unofficial industrial action halted production.
A statement from the company yesterday said annual wage negotiations between Kenmare and the workers' union had been taking place when an unofficial strike was called by a group of employees.
The company said today that all employees had returned to work after agreeing that some issues could be resolved only by detailed discussions. 'Negotiations are ongoing, with no further industrial action foreseen,' Kenmare said.
Earlier this month Kenmare said the mine was operating well and production was broadly in line with expectations.
