US cloud computing company Marketo says it plans to set up its European headquarters in Dublin.
The company said its founder and CEO Phil Fernandez would be in Dublin this week to discuss its plans with IDA Ireland.
Marketo says the exact numbers of jobs to be created by the move has not yet been confirmed, but they are likely to be in the Dublin area.
Marketo specialises in an area of cloud computing known as revenue performance management. This involves combining marketing automation with sales to help companies increase revenue.
Founded in 2006, Marketo has signed 1,000 customers in less than three years. Its revenues rose by more than 300% last year.
