The global technology firm, Avaya, is expanding its operations in Galway with the creation of 75 new high-end jobs. The positions are being advertised immediately.
Avaya today launched its new Customer Experience Centre in Mervue. Recruitment is already underway at the research and development facility with 75 jobs to be filled by the end of the year. The positions are across a range of areas including engineering, finance, IT and administrative support.
Avaya is a multinational company specialising in communications systems development with a workforce of 20,000 worldwide. It has plants in Mervue and in Sandyford in Dublin.
IDA Chief Executive, Barry O'Leary, said today's announcement demonstrated to the international community that Ireland was continuing to attract investment from key players in the technology industry.
