Air China has selected software from Dublin headquartered Datalex to provide all of its domestic and international shopping and reservations online and in its call centres.
The Datalex Travel Distribution Platform (TDP) will be used by the airline for its air and ancillary product offerings to customers. Datalex will work in co-operation with IBM Global Services to expand Air China's direct merchandising channel.
Datalex chief executive Cormac Whelan said that being chosen by the Chinese carrier was a further validation of the company's 'industry leading pricing and merchandising solutions.'
