An London-based investment group controlled by Irish solicitor Brian O'Donnell and his wife Mary Pat has refinanced a £107m loan on a property in Canary Wharf in London.
17 Columbus Courtyard is on a long lease to Credit Suisse International and is part of its European Headquarters.
The deal was arranged by Duet Private Equity Ltd, in partnership with MetLife and another unnamed partner. The transaction was provided to refinance an existing loan with Morgan Stanley.
Vico Capital also has other properties in Canary Wharf and Westminster in London, as well as properties in Stockholm and Washington DC.
Last week, Bank of Ireland began legal proceedings against Mr O'Donnell, his wife and their companies aimed at recovering loans of almost €70m.
