AA Ireland, the motoring organisation and insurance provider, is recruiting 40 new staff in its Dublin headquarters.
Director of policy Conor Faughnan said the organisation was mainly looking for staff for its motor, home and travel insurance business and for AA Rescue.
'AA Insurance has been performing very strongly and we need extra staff in our call centre to deal with growing demand,' said Mr Faughnan.
AA said there had been strong growth in demand for its rescue service in recent years, as people held on to cars for longer and became more aware of the need for roadside and rescue cover.
