The bankruptcy case of former Anglo Irish Bank chief executive David Drumm continues in Boston.

The latest hearing concentrated on exactly what Mr Drumm has been doing with the millions of euro he earned after he was elevated to the head of Anglo Irish Bank in 2005.

Mr Drumm told the bankruptcy administrator that as the clouds gathered around the economy and the bank in 2008, he started to transfer money to his wife Lorraine. This amounted to hundreds of thousands of euro.

He also intensified his interest in properties in the US around this time and moved to the US in early 2009, after he left Anglo Irish Bank.

The court is now selling one of the houses he bought at that time. The house in Chatham in Cape Cod is on the market for $5.5m and when it is sold, Mr Drumm's wife will get half the proceeds. The rest will go towards settling his debts, mainly to Anglo Irish Bank.
