Food group Greencore has bought US-based On A Roll Sales for an undisclosed sum.
The company is backed in Brockton, south of Boston and makes fresh sandwiches. Its assets at the end of September were valued at $3.4m.
'This acquisition will provide an additional revenue stream to Greencore's USA's food to go category and will complement our existing businesses in Newburyport and Cincinnati,' commented Greencore's group development director Eoin Tonge.
