There have been three separate investment announcements by IDA-backed companies in Cork, Limerick and Galway.
US-based technology company KEMP Technologies, which provides IT services to small businesses, is to locate its European sales and marketing headquarters in Limerick.
The investment will initially create 10 jobs with the potential to develop more over the next two years in the National Technology Park in Limerick.
Another US technology company, Rockwell Automation, has announced that it will increase its workforce in Ireland by 10% by the end of 2011. It is understood this will lead to around 15 extra jobs.
Rockwell Automation employs over 19,600 people worldwide. It bought Cork-based technology company ProsCon in 2007 and has just completed the final steps of integrating the acquisition ahead of this expansion.
Meanwhile, communications software company Aspect says it will be opening two new facilities in Galway this month. The facilities will provide customer technical support, software production and distribution, and serve as a shared services centre for select administrative functions.
