Bank of Ireland has issued €750m worth of debt guaranteed by the Government.
It is the first such issue by any of the banks since May of this year, and markey sources said it was priced relatively cheaply.
The debt was sold to over 60 investors across 21 countries.
Bank of Ireland also announced it had an order book of over €1 billion, which indicates the issue of debt was well received.
