11 Irish farm machinery firms are heading to France for a major sales drive, organised by Enterprise Ireland.
The companies will exhibit their machinery in Rennes at France's livestock and agricultural equipment trade show, SPACE.
The 11 companies have a turnover of over €250m and exports account for over 60% of sales, including €23m to France.
The Minister for Trade and Commerce, Billy Kelleher, is travelling to France with the trade delegation and is due to meet the Secretary of State for External Trade to discuss strengthening bilateral trade between France and Ireland. He will also meet the President of the Regional Council of Brittany to discuss Breton-Irish links.
France is the third largest export market for Enterprise Ireland firms. Last year total exports to France from about 500 Irish firms totalled €593m.
