Dublin Aerospace has won a maintenance contract from Aer Lingus to service some of its aircraft at Dublin Airport.

After a tender process, Dublin Aerospace was awarded the contract for base maintenance servicing of 12 Airbus A320 aircraft for the winter season 2010/2011.

Base maintenance refers to aircraft removed from service for airframe, power plant and systems inspection, testing and repair at significant scheduled maintenance intervals.

The remainder of Aer Lingus's base maintenance services will continue to be carried out by Sabena Technics in Bordeaux under an existing contract.
