Annual manufacturing prices rose by 1% in April, according to official figures from the Central Statistics Office.
Home sales increased 1.7% in the same month, while export sales were also up, rising 0.8%.
Possible contributing factors were the increases in electrical equipment, which was up 22.3%
Elsewhere, Building and construction increased by 1.5% since April 2009.
