Galway is to lose 140 jobs with the closure of the Musgrave's Retail Distribution Centre in the city.
Musgrave's said it will move its activities to its sites in Kilcock, Co Kildare and Cork.
55 of the workers will be given the option of taking up jobs at its site in Kilcock.
