Dublin-listed tool maker Oglesby & Butler says revenue for the third quarter of its financial year was 'substantially' ahead of the same period a year earlier, helped by sales of new products.
In a trading update, the group said revenue for the first three quarters to the end of December were 38% ahead of the same period a year earlier.
O&B said the recession had hit sales of some of its products, but there were indications that sales of these products had stopped declining. It said the recession continued to pose challenges but was confident that it would remain competitive and return to profit.
