Daft Media Group is expanding into the Polish online property market with the launch of Daft.pl.
The new site launches with about 60,000 properties covering every major city and town in Poland. While internet penetration in Poland is slightly behind Ireland at 52% compared to 66%, the market for online advertising is growing at a faster rate in Poland.
The company says it hopes to benefit from the positive brand recognition of Daft.ie amongst the Polish people who came to work and live in Ireland over the last ten years.
'We're very excited to be moving into Eastern Europe and we're anticipating great success in this market,' commented Daft.pl's business unit manager Judyta Holubowicz.
Founded in 1997, Daft.ie is now Ireland's largest property website with over 1.2 million monthly new visitors. It also owns Rent.ie and Property.ie.
