The extension of Dublin's Red Luas line to the Point Depot opened to the public for the first time today.
Four new stops are being added - bringing commuters into the heart of the Irish Financial Services Centre, concert-goers on to the O2.
Dublin Chamber of Commerce welcomed the opening, saying it would immediately improve public transport options for more than 40,000 workers in the Docklands area.
'This Luas extension, which is an important part of the Dublin Docklands Development Authority's Master Plan, will also be central to the movement of people to and from the National Convention Centre when it opens next September,' said Dublin Chamber chief executive Gina Quin.
