Carroll: BoS Ireland appoints receivers

RTE News has confirmed that Bank of Scotland Ireland has appointed receivers to secure properties owned by two companies within developer Liam Carroll's group.

ACCBank has already appointed receivers. A stay on a winding up order against two of Carroll's companies remains in place pending a possible appeal in the Supreme Court.

Bank of Scotland Ireland is owed approximately €300m by the Carroll group. A spokesman for BOSI had no comment to make on the matter.
