Lawyers for the Office of the Director of Corporate Enforcement went to the Commercial Court this afternoon to seek further directions in relation to documents seized from Anglo Irish Bank last week.
The court heard that two million documents, many in electronic formats, have now been seized from Anglo.
The lawyers were seeking clarification in relation to nine documents which the court heard may be subject to legal and professional privilege.
A similar application was heard by the court in May of this year. Mr Justice Peter Kelly said the same procedures agreed by both parties at that time should be applied in this case, and he adjourned the matter in case any dispute arises.
