UK-based broker TD Waterhouse is launching an online trading service in Ireland, which will go live on Saturday September 12.
The firm says the new trading platform will provide investors here with the broadest range of online trading services on local and international equity markets at competitive prices.
TD Waterhouse will also provide Irish investors with direct online access to a broad range of international trading exchanges. Customers will be able to trade on 18 local and international exchanges from 13 countries across Europe, North America and Asia Pacific, including the New York Stock Exchange, Toronto Stock Exchange as well as markets in London. Paris, Frankfurt, Milan, Madrid and Australia.
'In the current economic climate, the scope to take advantage of markets outside of ireland opens up a vast new range of investment opportunities,' commented Angus Rigby, the company's CEO.
