Lynch Hotel Group enters examinership

The Lynch Hotel Group has announced it has is voluntarily entered examinership in a bid to safeguard its future.

In a statement, Michael Lynch, MD of the Lynch Hotel Group, insisted that it is business as usual at the group's seven hotels.

The firm, which employs 530 people, has appointed Michael McAteer of Grant Thornton to conduct the examinership proceedings.

'We have taken today's action to restructure our business and as a long-term step to ensure the future of the Lynch Hotel Group,' said Mr Lynch.

'We are confident that our forty years of experience in the hotel business, our customer and staff loyalty and recognised innovation practices will see the company through this process,' he added.
