Taylor Made Glass Systems have announced 30 redundancies from their plant in Templemore, Co Tipperary.
The firm already let 24 employees go about five months ago.
Meanwhile, there are fears of job losses at a Derry call centre after it lost a number of contracts.
Stream Global Services, which provides support services for technology companies, employs 800 people at two sites in the city.
A spokesperson for the company said it was committed to its Derry operation, which opened in 1995.
He said that the company was trying to keep any redundancies to a minimum and that affected staff had been notified of the situation. Formal meetings with employee representatives will take place next week.
