More than 120 jobs have been created by two business projects in the greater Belfast area. The Park Inn Hotel is opening on the site of the old Belfast Superbowl off Bedford Street in the city centre. It will provide 60 full-time and several part-time jobs.
The £16m building has 145 rooms and is the first to be opened in Northern Ireland by the Rezidor Hotel Group.
A further 60 jobs have been created in Dundonald near East Belfast with the opening of a digital cinema. The eight-screen Omniplex Digital at the Eastpoint Entertainment Village will be able to show 3D films. The group has a number of other cinemas on both sides of the border.
