British Airways said it was cutting fuel surcharges on newly-purchased plane tickets by up to £13 sterling per leg of a journey, as oil prices fall sharply.
'British Airways will drop its fuel surcharge by as much as £13 from midnight', the carrier said in a brief statement.
The announcement follows a similar move by BA's British rival Virgin Atlantic yesterday.
