100 new jobs are to be created at two separate IDA-backed investments in Kerry and Dublin.
70 new jobs are being created at Aetna, a US-based health benefits company, at its existing Castleisland facility in Co Kerry over the next three years.
The jobs, supported by IDA Ireland, will be in the claims processing and customer services areas. The company has been in the town for 20 years.
The investment by the company will result in additional services to its customers, including a 24 hour support service for members of European-based multinational corporations.
Aetna's products include health management plans, indemnity products, health funds, life insurance and disability insurance.
Meanwhile, NNE Pharmaplan is to open an office in Dublin, initially employing 30 people. The company provides engineering and consulting services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies and is a subsidiary of Danish-based Novo Nordisk.
And over 200 jobs are being created in Northern Ireland by a US medical device manufacturer.
A £16m sterling (€20m) investment by CardianBCT in Larne, Co Antrim, is set to deliver 235 extra skilled jobs and more than double the workforce to 425.
The investment - which is getting £1.7m support part funded by the European Regional Development Fund - will establish the plant as one of the company's strategic manufacturing sites.
