International Financial Data Services (IFDS) has taken a stake in Dublin-based software company Percana.
Percana, based at Parkwest in Dublin, provides technology which is used to manage life assurance and pensions products. It employs 100 people.
IFDS is jointly owned by US financial services giant State Street and another US company DST Systems. It said it had bought a 'substantial minority interest' in Percana.
Percana said that it had grown substantially in recent years, but needed 'a significant global investor' if it was to achieve its ambitious growth targets.
