Bank of Ireland has announced increases in its interest rates for customers loans and deposits. The rises, some of which are above last week's rise of 0.25 points in euro zone rates, come into effect tomorrow.
The bank's standard variable mortgage rate goes up 0.35 points to 5.79%, while personal and business loan rates go up 0.4 points. Tracker mortgage rates rise in line with the European Central Bank rate.
Business deposit rates will increase by 0.25 points, but demand deposit rates rise by 0.1 to 0.15 points.
ICS Building Society's mortgage rates rise by the same amount from tomorrow.
