Connemara AGM hears of positive portfolio

Connemara Mining, the AIM-listed zinc company, told shareholders at its AGM today that it has a portfolio of positive exploration prospects.

Shareholders were told that the company has had a very busy year of exploration and drilling at several sites and has unearthed potentially high value zinc discoveries at Stonepark in Limerick and at Lough Sheelin in the Midlands.

The company also said that it has cash reserves of £500,000 sterling, mainly due to its joint venture partner Teck Cominco funding all exploration costs at Limerick.
