Ryanair is starting three new routes from Shannon to Poland from October. The new routes will service Gdansk, Katowice and Lodz.
The airline now flies to 33 destinations from the Co Clare airport and says the new Polish routes will operate on a twice weekly basis.
Ryanair also announced today that it will start its fifth service from Ireland West Knock Airport to Liverpool's John Lennon Airport in October.
The carrier says this is expected to bring an extra 100,000 passengers into Knock a year.
