Strong markets lift Origin performance

Origin Enterprises, the company spun off from food group IAWS last year, has said its revenue grew by almost 53% in the nine months to April 26.

In a trading update, it said underlying revenue growth - which strips out currency movements and acquisitions - was just under 28%.

Origin said there was strong demand in its agri-nutrition division, while there was a 'satisfactory' performance in the food division.

Chief executive Tom O'Mahony said the performance reflected strong trading conditions in all of the company's markets.
