Kerry-based Fexco is adding 140 new jobs after it signing of a contract to provide customer services to Bord Gáis. The jobs will be at Fexco's contact centre in Killorglin.
Fexco executive chairman Brian McCarthy said the company was particularly excited about working with Bord Gáis as it moves into the electricity market.
'We are committed to developing our business services outsourcing capability and growing the business offering significantly over the next number of years,' he said.
Fexco takes over from the previous contract holder Conduit. Its workers were offered the opportunity to transfer to Fexco but it is understood none did so.
