NI-based property developer MAR Properties has agreed to sell Blackpool International Airport to UK construction group Balfour Beatty for £14m.
MAR Properties bought the airport as part of a joint venture in 2004, and then bought out its partner's interest in 2006.
Balfour's Regional and City Airports arm is now acquiring a 95% stake in the Lancashire seaside airport, which serves the UK, Ireland, the Isle of Man and European destinations.
The company adds Blackpool airport to its existing portfolio, which already includes Exeter International Airport, bought for £60m last January.
Airlines including low cost carriers Ryanair and Jet2.com fly from Blackpool, which is based one mile south of the town centre.
The airport is forecast to handle about 500,000 passengers this year.
