Mining company Kenmare Resources has reported pre-tax losses of $9.6m for last year, up from a loss of $4.3m in 2006.
The company has experienced problems with equipment at its Moma titanium mine in Mozambique, which means it will not achieve its targeted production rate until the last quarter of this year.
Kenmare says the market outlook for its metals products is very positive, and it stands to benefit from from strong upward pressure on prices and growth in demand.
