The Irish League of Credit Unions has named Kieron Brennan as its new chief executive. He takes up the post in May.
Mr Brennan is currently programme manager at POBAL, a not-for-profit company focused on community development and financing, which manages schemes on behalf of the Government and European Union.
The ILCU represents more than 500 credit unions in Ireland.
