Standard Life is to merge its Irish business with its Standard Life International division, which was set up in Dublin two years ago.
Audrey McLaren, currently operations director with Standard Life Germany, will take over responsibility for the merged business. Current Standard Life Ireland CEO Michael Leahy has resigned after 18 years with the company.
Standard Life says it has chosen Ireland as its manufacturing base for international bonds.
