Shannon Development has appointed Vincent Cunnane as its chief executive designate. Dr Cunnane, who is currently Vice President Research at the University of Limerick, will become CEO in June.
He replaces Kevin Thompstone, who announced his retirement last year.
Dr Cunnane was a founding member of the Irish Research Scientists Association and served on the first National Research Support Fund Board. He currently serves on the board of Limerick's National Technology Park.
