RTÉ News has learned that investors who bought €43m of bonds in troubled finance house ISTC have lost all their money.
Last week it was announced that the Dublin-based bank is to be taken over by British investment bank Collins Stewart for just €5m.
The Irish company when into examinership late last year after it had been severely affected by the international credit crisis.
