Cork airport row - Warning from Transport Minister
Cork airport row - Warning from Transport Minister

Transport Minister Noel Dempsey has warned that he may have to re-consider separating Cork Airport from the Dublin Airport Authority unless a solution is found to the row over who should pay Cork's €220m debt.

Minister Dempsey has appointed the former Congress of Trade Unions General Secretary, Peter Cassells, to mediate between the Cork Airport Authority and the Dublin Airport Authority.

He has given the parties a month to settle their differences.
