Cork-based Alimentary Health has entered into a research and development agreement with ConvaTec, a major manufacturer of ostomy and wound care products.
Alimentary Health is a development stage speciality biotechnology company which focuses on treatments for gastrointestinal disorders and other inflammatory conditions.
Under the terms of the new deal, the two companies will contribute their intellectual property and patented technologies to a research project expected to take place over the next 12 months.
