O'Briens Sandwich Bars is launching in Canada with a new franchise operated by a husband and wife team, Meryem and Manny Singh.
The first O'Briens Canada store will be based in Toronto with another two planned for the area before the end of the year. The Singhs are also planning to expand out across Ontario before moving towards British Columbia.
O'Briens has over 300 stores in Ireland, Europe, Asia, Australia and Africa. Established in 1995 in Dublin, it plans to open its biggest store in Belfast in March. It had a group turnover of over €100m in 2006.
