Exploration company Conroy Diamonds & Gold has raised its estimates for its gold prospect at Clontibret, Co Monaghan.
In a statement released as the company held its AGM in Dublin, Conroy said the new estimates followed further evaluation and appraisal work on earlier findings.
The new indicated level of ounces has been increased threefold to 200,000.
Chairman Professor Richard Conroy said the company was taking the first steps towards a pre-feasibility study with the ultimate aim of starting a mining operation.
